«PLEASURE OF THE UNKNOWN»
Así se titula mi trabajo hecho para la marca SULTAN OF SUN, un proyecto llevado a cabo en las costas francesas en donde tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con grandes surfistas como Manuel Mosteiro y Javier Vidania.
(ENG)-This is the title of my work done for the SULTAN OF SUN brand, a project carried out on the French coast where I had the opportunity to work with great surfers such as Manuel Mosteiro and Javier Vidania.
SINOPSIS/SYNOPSIS
Este proyecto busca empatizar con todos esos amantes del surf que buscan cada dia estar en el sitio indicado a la hora indicada, la ventaja de pasar bajo perfil es que puedes ser y estar donde quieras, por eso el titulo de este proyecto.
(ENG)-This project seeks to empathize with all those surf lovers who seek to be in the right place at the right time every day, the advantage of going low profile is that you can be and be wherever you want, hence the title of this project.

Este proyecto muestra increíbles tomas acuáticas con los mejores atardeceres y olas perfectas de Las Landas francesas. En resumen: «Surfing espectacular en un lugar espectacular, y también un poco de humor».
(ENG)-This project shows incredible aquatic shots with the best sunsets and perfect waves of the French Landes. In short: «Spectacular surfing in a spectacular place, and a bit of humor too.»

El surfer indonesio pasó a ser parte del TEAM DEFLOW este invierno y, para celebrarlo, participó en el campeonato internacional de LA INVERNAL donde se llevó el primer lugar.
(ENG)-The Indonesian surfer became part of TEAM DEFLOW this winter and, to celebrate, he participated in the LA INVERNAL international championship where he took first place.
Este evento se llevó a cabo en marzo 2021 donde 10 de los mejores team riders de la marca asistieron para regalarnos un poco de su arte. Mi trabajo fue generar contenido sobre los productos que estos utilizarían en su participación en el evento.

(ENG)-This event took place in March 2021 where 10 of the best team riders of the brand attended to give us some of their art. My job was to generate content about the products that they would use in their participation in the event.

Una narrativa que nos recuerda que somos seres conformados y que cada una de nuestras celulas esta conectada al ambiente que nos rodea.
STUCK IN THE NORTH
La historia de 4 shapers locales del norte de España, en concreto de Cantabria, que contaron su historia y fabricaron 4 tablas que más tarde surfearon 4 surfistas cántabros de alto nivel. Es una serie de mini documentales que se hicieron con el objetivo de crear cultura y apoyar a esos grandes talentos que se encuentran muy cerca de nosotros.
(ENG)-The story of 4 local shapers from the north of Spain, specifically from Cantabria, who told their story and made 4 boards that were later surfed by 4 high-level Cantabrian surfers. It is a series of mini documentaries that were made with the aim of creating culture and supporting those great talents that are very close to us.

Conoceremos a Federico Van Praag y sus orígenes, que presenta una tabla hecha con un material muy interesante. Manuel Mosteiro es el encargado de probar esta tabla y darle mucha vida.

Borja Beraza es el protagonista de este capítulo donde nos contará de su ascendencia surfera y del legado familiar que sigue hasta hoy. Javier Vidania, que también procede de una familia pionera, será el surfer encargado de probar el twin fin que Borja ha fabricado.

EPISODIO 3 AHAU
Entre tantos shapers hay uno que destaca en términos de innovación y arriesgar a la hora de hacer una tabla. Ese es Roberto Sánchez «Lulen», el creador de AHAU que, con más de 25 años haciendo tablas, aún sigue encontrando la manera de divertirse fabricándolas. Juan Merodio es el surfista que aceptó el reto de «Lulen» y se subió a un 6’8” asimétrico para pillar las olas magníficas de la isla de Santa Marina.

(ENG)-Among so many shapers, there is one that stands out in terms of innovation and taking risks when making a board. That is Roberto Sánchez «Lulen», the creator of AHAU who, with more than 25 years making boards, is still finding ways to have fun making them. Juan Merodio is the surfer who accepted the challenge of «Lulen» and got on a 6’8″ asymmetrical to catch the magnificent waves of the island of Santa Marina.

EPISODIO 4 LEMON
Por último, pero no menos importante, quizás uno de los shapers con más talento de la costa norte española: Daniel Góngora, creador de la marca LEMON SURFBOARDS, que lleva unos cuantos años en esto y que fabricó una tabla poco común para Guillermo Gutiérrez que, sin pensárselo mucho, se tiró al agua en un spot muy clásico de Cantabria para dar una increíble demostración de su alto nivel de surf.

(ENG)-Last but not least, perhaps one of the most talented shapers on the Spanish north coast: Daniel Góngora, creator of LEMON SURFBOARDS brand, who has been at it for a few years and who made a rare board for Guillermo Gutiérrez that Without giving it much thought, he jumped into the water at a very classic spot in Cantabria to give an incredible demonstration of his high level of surfing.
